Terms of Service.

These terms are the agreement between you and Sushant, who runs MEMORIX ("MEMORIX", "we", "us"), for using the MEMORIX app and website. By using MEMORIX you agree to them. Please read our Privacy Policy too, because it explains what happens to your data.
1. Who can use MEMORIX
You must be 18 or over. Each account is for one person, and the details you give us must be accurate.
2. Early access
MEMORIX is in early access. Features may change or be removed, and things will not always work as expected. We will do our best to fix problems quickly.
3. Your account and your Brain Key
- Keep your sign in details and your Brain Key safe, and do not share them.
- Your files are encrypted with keys made from your Brain Key. If you lose your Brain Key and every device you are signed in on, we cannot recover those files.
- You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
4. Your content
What you put in MEMORIX stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and transmit it, including sending it to our AI providers as our Privacy Policy describes, only so we can run MEMORIX for you. You must have the right to add everything you upload, and you should not add other people's private information unless you are allowed to.
5. AI features and reminders
- AI can be wrong or miss things. Check important dates, amounts and details against the original.
- MEMORIX is not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
- Reminders depend on your phone, its settings and its connection, so they can arrive late or not at all. Do not rely on MEMORIX as your only reminder for anything critical.
6. Connected accounts
When you connect Gmail, Outlook, Google Drive, Dropbox, a calendar or WhatsApp, you let MEMORIX access it as our Privacy Policy describes. That service's own terms still apply. We only send an email when you confirm it, and you can disconnect at any time.
7. Sharing
When you share with people in your Trust Network, they can see what you share. You choose what to share, and you can stop sharing at any time.
8. Free credits and plans
- The free version includes a single allowance of AI credits. It does not renew and does not expire.
- When your credits run out, your vault stays open, and AI features need a plan. There may also be a daily limit on AI use.
- Paid plans are not on sale yet. When they are, prices will be shown before you buy, and payment will be handled by the app store you buy through.
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
9. Acceptable use
Do not:
- break the law, or use MEMORIX to harm, harass or deceive anyone;
- upload malware, or content you have no right to share;
- try to get into other people's accounts or data;
- probe, attack, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service;
- use MEMORIX to build a competing product or to train AI models;
- resell the service.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account in the app at any time. You then have 30 days to change your mind before everything is erased. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk, and we will tell you why unless the law or someone's safety prevents it.
11. Changes
We may update MEMORIX and these terms. If a change to these terms is important, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using MEMORIX after that, the new terms apply.
12. Our responsibility to you
We provide MEMORIX with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, MEMORIX is provided as it is. We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably foresee, for business losses, or for problems caused by events outside our control.
As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before your claim and 50 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
13. Law
If you live in India, these terms are governed by the laws of India. If you live anywhere else, they are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Either way, if you use MEMORIX as a consumer, you keep the protections of your local law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
